LOCATION
Located just outside of Edmonton, Refuge Bay is truly out in the wild and far from civilization. This place provides access to the great outdoors with the all the luxury of a peaceful getaway.
THE DOME
Stay in this super cool dome that gives you a 360 view of your surroundings. It’s modern and fully furnished including an extra comfy bean bag chair! The dome is heated and also has a wood burning stove. See the stars at night through the ceiling and listen to the sounds of the wild as you sleep.
AMENTITIES
There are basic cooking utensils provided as well as coffee, tea and lots of water. Plates, cups and utensils are also available and there is a BBQ to cook with as well as a mini fridge and cooler for your food. Towels, slippers and fresh linens are also included.
BATHROOM AND SHOWER
Yes there is a bathroom as well as showers. These are separate from the dome and just a few steps away. You will have the luxury of a hot shower at your disposal.
THE SAUNA
Take glamping to new levels by enjoying a hot sauna in this outdoor clamping experience. This feature makes the whole experience that much more relaxing and enjoyable.
THE HOT TUB
The wood fire hot tub is available but requires an extra $175 to your booking as the water is brought in fresh via truck.
3 TIPS BEFORE YOU GO
FOOD: You will want to stock up at the grocery store before your arrival at Refuge Bay. Keep the food simple as you only have the BBQ to cook with and you will want to keep it easy and light.
CELL SERVICE: There is no wifi but you have cell reception and will be able to use your phone for calls and internet.
LOCATION: Located just outside of Edmonton, you will want to take into account Refuge Bay is in the wildness. Give your self time to drive so you can enjoy this spot on arrival.
