‍IT'S SEASONAL

Due to where the lodge is located, it is only accessible for a few months of the year as the road closes in the winter. Please check their site for open and closing times of the lodge.

DINING ‍

You can eat all of your meals on site at The Rocky Mountain Lodge. They have a full restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is continental  but lunch and dinner are seated with full table service. The food is absolutely delicious and a 5 star experience! You will need to make reservations upon check in to ensure your seating time in confirmed.  Brings snacks and extra wine for your room!

EXPERIENCES ON SITE

CABINS 

Enjoy the front porch of your cabin while reading a good book, drinking your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Start a fire inside your cabin for a quiet night in.

THE BEACH 

Just steps away from the cabins you can walk down to the beach and enjoy a fire while listening to the rushing river. This is great at night to watch the sunset or enjoy your morning coffee at sunrise.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN LODGE

Enjoy the lodge at night by fireside on the  patio overlooking the mountains with a glass of wine.

ACTIVITIES OFF SITE 

There is no lack of beauty within in range. You can experience these stunning places just a car drive away.

Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge: Just 10 mins away experience the stunning Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. These two iconic places are worth a visit.

Pro tip: There is no cell coverage at Emerald Lake so plan accordingly.

Takakkaw Falls: Visit this stunning waterfall just up the road from Cathedral Mountain Lodge. You will need to drive up the road and walk to the viewing point.

Moraine lake:  40 min drive. The Iconic Moraine Lake is the ultimate Canadian spot. This is one of the most photographed places in Canada and for good reason why. The road to Moraine is open from May to October with no access by motor vehicle beyond these times. It is one of the most incredible places to watch the sunrise as the sun lights up of the valley of the ten peaks. It is a bucket list experience. You can also rent canoes via Moraine Lake Lodge.

Pro Tip: The parking lot fills up so you will want to arrive super early. If you can, drive to the parking lot at Lake Louise village and take an e-bike in.Rent this from Wilson sport at the village. You can also hike up to larch valley which is best in early September.

Lake Louise: 40 min drive. Lake Louise is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Canada. It is known for its aqua blue waters and stunning mountain views.

‍

Pro tip: Take the 45 minute hike up to the Tea house overlooking Lake Agnes.
